About Us
Having grown up on a horse farm, I have pretty much
been around animals of all sizes pretty much my
entire life. My parents raised and trained
standardbred horses and we had more cats, dogs,
rabbits, sheep, goats and ducks than you could
imagine (Dad even brought home turkeys and emus
a few times--so yes, I have seen it all!)
That's why taking over this business really has been
such a blessing - who wouldn't love getting to see
faces that are always happy to see you on a regular
basis?!
My husband Gary and I are both Eastern Shore born
and bred, so we think we are pretty lucky to be able
to keep a home in the place we both grew up. Gary's
daughter Jennifer lives nearby as do my parents and
sisters so being able to have a business so close to
family and friends is great!
My goal is to provide my customers (and their
owners!) with the BEST possible care they can get. I
believe that so much of an animal's physical well
being depends on their mental well-being--which is
why I believe so strongly in customized care for your
pet's individual needs. If your pooch likes to have his
blanket a certain way when you are there, that's how
we can going to leave it when we visit too! If your kitty
likes an ice cube or two in his water, he'll most
certainly get it during a visit from Tail Waggers staff.
And if your pet falls ill while you are away, we will
make sure to get him or her to their own vet as soon
as we realize a need to get them medical help.
About Our Business
I never met a lab I didn't like (and trust me, I take care of a lot
of labs--this is the Eastern Shore after all.) Here I am with one
of my buddies, Bella Aguilar.
Lisa and Kimmy Guyer...like I said, who wouldn't enjoy
getting to see sweet faces like these on a daily basis!?
